Patients with 2 or3 grade of liver transplantation emergencies who need urgent liver transplantation due to acute or acute-on-chronic liver failure. (patients with a MELD score of 31 to 40)
Two-week mortality of 2- or 3-grade liver transplant emergency is close to 50%.

LifeLiver® is administered in a way that circulates the patient's plasma outside of the body, as like kidney dialysis, and aids the liver function by recirculating the patient's plasma to a bioreactor filled with an amount of high-functioning hepatocyte spheroids.
